Julia Hermos

These habits are your simple daily actions to help you hit your goals. Focus on these each day — small actions lead to big results.

BEHAVIOR CHANGE

Here's 3 nutritional behaviors we'll be working on

Practice Eating Slowly

Take your time while eating to savor each bite, which can help you recognize when you're full.

Example: Put your utensils down between bites, and enjoy the flavors of your meal more fully.

Eat Until 80% Full

Listen to your body and stop eating when you're about 80% full to avoid overeating.

Example: Before finishing your meal, take a moment to assess your hunger and decide if you really need that last bite.

Keep Hydrated Throughout the Day

Make sure to drink water regularly throughout the day to stay hydrated and support your metabolism.

Example: Keep a water bottle handy and aim to refill it four times throughout your workday.

PORTION CONTROL

Here's 3 portion control habits we'll be working on

Eat Protein in Each Meal

Incorporate a source of protein in every meal to help you feel satisfied and maintain muscle mass.

Example: For breakfast, enjoy yogurt with nuts; for lunch, add grilled chicken to your salad; and for dinner, have salmon with your vegetables.

Eat Vegetables Daily (3 Servings)

Make it a goal to consume at least three servings of vegetables each day for essential nutrients and fiber.

Example: Add a side salad to lunch, include steamed broccoli with dinner, and snack on carrot sticks.

Eat Fruits Daily (2 Servings)

Incorporate at least two servings of fruits into your daily diet for vitamins and natural sweetness.

Example: Start your day with a banana, and enjoy a handful of berries as an afternoon snack.

These habits work best when you keep them simple and consistent. Pick one to focus on first, then add more when ready You've got this!
