Hi! I’m Zoe.
I Help Women Redefine What They’re Capable of

by building strength, confidence, and resilience — in their bodies and in every part of their lives. I’m a certified personal trainer and Darden MBA who understands what it means to juggle a busy, ambitious life.

This journey has transformed me beyond fitness. I am energized and confident when I wake up, ready to take on the day. I'm happier within myself, and that positivity radiates through all of my relationships.

About Me

I founded Fitness by Zoe (FBZ) to help high-achievers like you reclaim control of your health without sacrificing your ambition.

I know what it’s like to balance career goals, personal responsibilities, and the pressure to have it all together. That’s why FBZ is more than just workouts — it’s a coaching ecosystem that blends strength training, mindset coaching, and practical strategies that adapt to your real life. At FBZ, there’s no one-size-fits-all plan. Every program is built on the belief that strength looks different for everyone — and real progress means finding what works for you, right now.

I’m certified through the American Council on Exercise in Personal Training, Youth Fitness, and Behavior Change, and I bring both science and structure to every program I build — so you can build habits that last, results you’re proud of, and a body you feel truly at home in.

Why FBZ Is Different

You don’t need more willpower. You need a system built for you — by someone who actually listens.

At FBZ, we don’t believe in punishment-based fitness, extremes, or cookie-cutter plans. Instead, we focus on building strength from the inside out: with sustainable, science-driven training, nutrition guidance, mindset support, and recovery — because strength is built, not born.
Our approach is built on:
Honesty and empathy: no fluff, no judgment.
Presence and partnership: we meet you where you are — and help you zoom out to see the bigger picture.
Humor and humanity: training should add to your life, not drain it.
Progress over perfection: we build consistent habits that last, rather than quick fixes. Strength is built, not born — and once you have it, no one can take it away.
A mind-body approach: we help you build awareness, focus, and resilience — not just physical strength.
Exceptional programming: workouts are the North Star — you’ll see and feel visible changes when you show up consistently. Your plan adapts as you do, with real-time updates and accountability.
Strength training at FBZ isn’t just about looking strong — it’s about becoming the kind of person who can handle whatever life throws at you. That’s why our clients describe working with us as part coaching, part education, and part reclaiming ownership over their bodies and lives. If you’re ready to commit, show up, and run towards change (not away from it), then let’s connect.
FBZ Timeline

The seed for FBZ was planted when I realized doing it alone wasn’t working.

Fresh out of my Darden MBA, I returned to brand management at General Mills.

Where I signed up with my first personal trainer. That moment shifted everything.

Where it started
Where we are now
Where it was built
2013

Graduated from Darden and stepped back into a demanding role at General Mills. Started working with Andrea Claassen, my first personal trainer, to build consistency and confidence while balancing career pressures.

2014

Certified as a personal trainer — because coaching others makes you a better student yourself. Began building a new relationship with fitness: practical, real, and science-driven.

2015

Moved to NYC for a leadership role at Tough Mudder, drawn by the fast pace and opportunity to grow. Started free Fort Greene Park boot camps for coworkers and friends — learning how to motivate groups, create community, and deliver high-impact workouts anyone could do.

2016-2019

Continued running seasonal bootcamps, partnered with gyms, built private training clientele — all while leading marketing teams in NYC’s fast-moving wellness industry.

2020

Named the #1 instructor on Classpass as the pandemic moved everything online. Taught classes from my Brooklyn apartment while still working full-time at Equinox as a Marketing Director. Learned how to adapt, pivot, and support clients no matter what life threw at them.

2023

Left my London CMO role — a position I loved — because something was calling me back home to the US. Joined a mentorship program, clarified my mission, and prepared to take FBZ full-time.

2025-Present

FBZ is now my full-time mission — an online coaching platform serving women nationwide, helping ambitious women redefine what they’re capable of and build strength in every part of their lives.
